For the past 17 years, Dale Knock has been involved in the surveying industry. Dale acquired his Survey Technology Diploma in 1995. Dale has performed all forms of surveying from surveying in the petroleum sector to subdivisions, forestry, engineering projects such as dams, dugouts and reservoirs and roads along with providing technical support and training at all levels of experience on all forms of surveying equipment from total stations to Survey Grade GPS, lasers, and more recently utilizing UAV's for spatial data gathering.
June 2003, Vertex Positioning Services Inc (VPSI), was incorporated to facilitate utilization of Dale's and his associate's skills and perform as a consulting group, providing positioning solutions to various private and municipal sectors.
Since VPSI's inception; Dale and associates have travelled the world providing solutions and knowledge to the Canadian Military, Municipal Districts and Counties, Engineering firms, legal and construction survey companies and retail corporations.
VPSI has worked on projects and performed services in Iraq, Dubai, Bahamas, NWT, Yukon, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
